U.K. Parent sponsorship

I am a UK citizen with PR and am looking to sponsor my parent. I noticed on the cic website that I must show option c printouts for the previous 3 years. I have only been working in Canada in what will be the last 2 years and before that I was working in the UK. Does that mean I can't sponsor my parent until I get 3 years worth of Option c's? Does my UK income not count? I will also be using a cosigner too (my wife).

1, 3 years of Canadian tax returns required. Note the quota for parents is presently 5k per year, last year the q uota went in a day and a half.

Your UK income doesn't count - only income from Canadian sources.

Yes - you must provide three Canadian tax returns. And yes - you can use your wife as a co-signer if you want to.
