Hello Good People,

I got married in Quebec. About to apply for PR in Spouse Category. I received Marriage Certificate and Act of Marriage Certificate. No issue with the Marriage Certificate.
But there are couple of typo in Act of Marriage Certificate in the names of the witnesses.

I am planning to apply soon. Should I make correction first then apply or typo of the witnesses names won't create any issue?

I strongly doubt the typo of witnesses' names will matter. If the witnesses otherwise appear in your application (i.e. relatives in family information forms), you may want to include a letter of explanation that it's a typo.
Going to the civil registrar to get a corrected copy may be overkill but I wouldn't blame you for wanting to get it corrected just in case.

The witnesses my relatives but friends. They are not anywhere in my application.
