Hi,

I just graduated from UofT and has applied for the PGWP two weeks ago. I have uploaded all the required documents plus my job offer to the account and submitted it.

However currently i found out two ambiguous questions on that IM5710 sheet, i was wondering if i have made mistakes on that sheet.

First: for the country of residence information:"from -to", I have filled my visa duration, which has a earlier issue date than my study permit. However ppl said we need to fill the duration of the study permit.

Second, for the duration of the intended employment in the future, i have filled end- july 2013 to the end-july of 2016. That will be a little bit longer than three years if i assume i could get my permit at the early july.

I just wonder if those two questions will affect my application in some way?? should i withdrawl my application or report the change to the cic? or it does not matter that much?

Thank you so much for your answer.

Don't worry about any of those points. Even if you ask for a 5 year visa, that's not a big deal. They will issue you visa for the period that you would be eligible for, i.e., 3 years. I asked for a 2 year extension of parent's visitor record, and they gave an extension of 2 years and 2 months. My friend asked for an extension of 12 months for a work permit, they issued him a 11 month work permit. So they don't necessarily go with what you ask for in the application.

Thank you so much for you reply! And also for the first question, even if I filled that country of residence duration with the visa duration ( which has a one month difference from study permit), they will not turn me down because of that right?

I greatly appreciate your help!
