Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I don't get it...

We received your application for permanent residence on January 7, 2010.

We started processing your application on March 15, 2010.

We started processing your application on July 6, 2010.

Why two "started processing your application" ?? Does anybody have this???

I am so anxious...

Tough to say for sure - but, regardless of what it says in eCAS, for inland applications any date "in process" that is before 7-8 months after they receive the application is nothing more than basically an acknowledgment of receipt. The posted inland processing timeline for first stage approval has just changed to 7-8 months - they are currently assessing applications received through November 15, 2009. If your application was received by them after that date, they've done nothing except log it in. If you sent additional information that wasn't included in the initial submission, that might have something to do with the two dates - maybe logging in receipt of the subsequent info . . . other than that, it's difficult to tell.

The important thing to remember is that - absolutely - they will not start processing your application for at least 7 months after receipt, no matter what is indicated in eCAS.

Also, I noticed in your timeline that it appears you applied to extend your visitor status separately from your PR application. You ABSOLUTELY MUST send notification to CPC-Vegreville - to be matched to your PR application - that your status has been extended. Don't depend on them figuring this out on their own - because, if they don't, your application will end up being transferred to your local CIC office for processing BEFORE they issue first stage approval and it could sit for up to a couple of years without AIP if that office is busy. Valid temporary status is VERY important when you apply inland - which is why you're supposed to include the status extension WITH the inland PR ap. Don't let this slip - make sure they get a copy of your new status document.

Thanks for answering, RobsLuz.

We sent information about the extension with the PR application.

We hope that next month we have some good news.

Thanks.
