Two questions about sponsoring parents

Hi

I have done lots of research on LICO requirement for parental sponsorship.and still couldn't find answers for the following questions:

1. For self-employed person, in order to get tax credits, people usually claim expenses. Therefore, for example $30,000 gross income, after all the deduction, net income will be like $20,000. On option C prinout, do they look at gross income or net income?

2. In order to meet the LICO requirement, I also want to rent out my condo. I have never seen people discussing this so I have no idea if this is doable or not. Will rental income fully accepted by CIC? or just partially?

Follow the instructions in the guide, and complete IMM1283 Financial Evaluation. That will tell you your total eligible income.
