Hi everyone! I have two questions please HELP:
1. I would like to know if it's ok to apply with a one year experience split in two periods of 7 months each with a gap of 1 year between the two.
2. I would like to apply as a Math Teacher in High school even though I am an aerospace engineer. Is that ok?

I assume your work experience is from outside of Canada.

1. No, it's not. You need 1 year of work experience that is continuous (without breaks).
2. You should apply under your primary profession where you have work experience. If this is as a math teacher, that is the right option. But you won't qualify until you have 1 year of continuous work experience.

First of all thank you.
So, I read "One year continuous within the last 10 years (combination of part-time, full-time or more than 1 job in your primary occupation)", but isn't it a "combination of more than 1 job"? I know there is the word continuos, but I am confused. Yes, I also want that my current situation work somehow, not gonna lie...

Did you Scylla, or anyone know someone who had the same situation and worked for him (or was rejected). Thank you all! :)

It can be more than 1 job but it needs to be continuous. Continuous means without breaks. You have a 7 month break which means your work experience is definitely not continuous. The requirements are very clear.

You won't even get that far.

You won't be able to set up an Express Entry profile without at least 1 year of continuous work experience.
