Two jobs at the same time?

Hi,
I have a doubt about self employement in canada for Permanent Residents.While working in an organization is it possible for us to have our own private practice as part time?

So many work here for two employers at one time,one full time and one part time, or two part time, the govt has no objection but if your employer has objection then you can't work for him and privately. I dont know which sort of work you are interested in. If you take away the customer of your employer by working privately then he is not going to allow you for work for him.
