Hi all,
I was wondering if someone finishes a 3 years bachelor and decides to do another 1 year diploma, would he/she get one year or three years post graduation work permit ?

all depends on the VO.

you "CAN" get WP of "UP TO" three years.

1 year study - 1 year work permit
2 years study - 3 year open work permit or till date of PP expiry (if expires in less than 3 years)
3 years study - 3 year open work permit or till date of PP expiry (if expires in less than 3 years)
4 years study (3+1) - 3 year open work permit or till date of PP expiry (if expires in less than 3 years)

Thanks Goku - what does PP stand for ? passport ?

PP means passport

If your passport expires before the total length available for your PGWP, the permit will be issued until passport expiring date, however if you get a new passport you can extend your PGWP.
