Konkanasetty,

im not here to confuse people.
i shared my opinion based on phone discussions with call centre agents.
if you are aware of cic rules yourself then why bother asking questions here,go ahead and send two applications in same stream then we all are going find out in the future based on your own experience.

and just to add

im pretty SUREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE that two applications under one category are not allowed.
do your own research then come back here and THANK me for saving you money and time for no results.

Hi gimmeThatPR,

if i remember well i think your application was rejected at the CIO sydney, nova scotia and you emailed them asking for your file to be reopened,so the considered your request but that is just one application not two my friend.
it is just a common sense that you can't have to applications under one stream,to me it does not make any sense at all.

My "friend" , I am talking from my experience and not from my "common sense" and the experience is I mailed Sydney and they reopened my file and forwarded it to Ottawa and then I contacted Ottawa and I was back and forth with them on both of my applications .

So it is definitely two applications under ONE category i.e. CEC and it has been more than 6 months for both of them and they are both in process and had you consulted a good lawyer, you would know, you can apply as many applications as you want.
ANY NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS UNDER ANY CATEGORY.

Show me any example where anyone had a problem when they applied more applications OR any manual which says you cants have more applications under one category else like Konkanasetty mentioned . these are the facts that I am talking from

Thanks

Every application is done from scratch..so i guess having two applications in one stream do make sense..
And, you are paying fee before AOR for both of them so why not

second that ..

BTW
Hows your second application coming along gladaki :)

Trying to understand why somebody will want 2 or more parallel applications. How do those applications differ ? NOC codes ?

1 case I had though off was as a principal application and as a dependent. Is that the same case with you , gimmeThatPR ?

no..In my case... my first application was rejected due to some misunderstanding... So instead of waiting for them to listen to me and reopen my application ...I applied for another one and after I applied another one, they also reopened my previous application.

So I have two applications going hand in hand.

Thanks
