Hey guys,

I have two applications for permanent residency in at the moment. Does it affect my chances in anyway in I have a Skilled Worker (PR) application (in Canada) in, and a sponsored Common-Law (in Canada) application in as well? Im tinking I should cancel my Skilled Worker application if it does.

I have found no language anywhere regarding having two PR applications in the loop, but that doesn't really mean anything. If you're in Canada you should call the CIC hotline.

as far as I know you must cancel one of PR application otherwise you receive a letter from your visa office to withdraw one of them. you cannot be under two PR application process for the same country. you just need to choose between them.

As far as I know there are no in-Canada skilled worker applications, only in Canada sponsored spouse/common-law applications.
