I have posted several similar questions here but my confusion is yet to be clarified. In the application form for study permit there is a question asking about expenses.

Cost of my studies will be:
a) Tuition b) Room and Board c) Others

Please clearly state if i should type tuition and living cost for 1 year or my entire 4 year course. My annual tuition will be $34000, accommodation n food should be $10000 and $3000 should be other per year. Please clearly state what should be my answers to a,b and c.

holy ,, that's a lot of money , 34,000 in tuition :o almost 200,000 cad . for the entire studies
Are you going to UoT?
Yes you have to write the ENTIRE amount , it says tuition of your studies NOT tuition of 1 year , you must follow all the instruction LITERALLY.

Thanks for the reply and yes i am going for UofT EE undergrad. I hope u r correct as different ppl seem to have different opinion on this... Anyways thanks a lot as I had the same opinion too.
 
my friend is in york university ,for undergradaute 4 years,i wil also be applying for visa and same course,he told me to write ONE YEAR tuition fees and living expnses in that part,

Hi,

1. No matter what you write, VO will calculate it as 1st year tuition + CAD 10,000 (a basic financial requirement for study permit).

I will be writing my 4 year costs. In ur case it should be:
tuition: 96000 RandB: 40000 other: 3000

Therefore,I must show (24000+10000+3000) $37000 above funds in my bank statements right?I intend to show $120000.Is it sufficient?When will u apply bro?

Yes that should do very nicely as you are showing a very big amount of money in your bank account. I will be applying within 7-10 days from now.

I've got into UofT EE Undergrad. My tuition fee is $34000/year for a 4 year course. I will be showing bank statements of around $ 160000, my parents employment letters, business ownership proofs and some land property proofs. Hope all goes will for you, and do pray for me too! :)

Nobody shows full funds for the entire duration of study right? I will be showing 80% of my total costs in my bank accounts is it okay? When should i apply?Dude what if I apply in late May or Early June?Guide
 
U don't required to Show full expense. Only one year tuition fees = 12000 other expense. That all
U should write as

TUTION FEES ROOM AND BOARD OTHERS

$.......... $ 7200 $ 4800

This is set by CHC that room and board and other expense is $12000 for one year and this is must be credit in ur account.

Here's another confusion!!! Bro,are u sure its $12000? You are saying $7200 for room&board and $4800 for others??? isn't it $10000 for R&B and $3000 for other???
