trying to link online CIC services to my paper inland PR application ??

still not a word of communication from CIC

we have a CIC online setup, but there are no applications showing in it, and when we go to the part that says "link an existing application to this account", it then asks "what did the applicant apply for?" followed by 2 drop down menus... the first Category we select "Permanent Residence", the 2nd drop box "Sub Category" has nothing that pertains to our Family Class application, the choices are "Canadian Experience Class, Express Entry, Federal Skilled Trades, Federal Skilled Worker, Provincial Nominee Program"

so nothing at all for Spousal sponsored Family Class

so impossible to try to even link to see if it exists anywhere

what to do?

Sponsorship applicants can't link online accounts to paper applications until May 26, 2016: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1222&top=3

ah thanks, I keep trying and thinking something is glitched out, that will save me that effort


but one more question, will our application automatically show up on our online account, or messages? or is there going to be some other process to go through in the future to get online with that?

When it becomes available there will be a link on your online CIC account to link an application.
