I had to fly out of Canada after applying for PGWP on 15th May for my mother's last rites. My TRV expired while I am outside and am wondering if I can get TRV while PGWP is processing. I need to come back to Canada for my work and might count as essential travel
PGWP processing times are more than 6 months and I applied for TRV stating
-I have a job in Canada
- I am legally allowed to work in Canada on my return (https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1309&top=15)
- My salary will support me financially
- I normally live in Canada.
I understand that with normal rules this might not be possible but COVID has taken processing to 4 times. Would they consider this request rationally or Can I add something to the request to make it more approvable?
