TRV submitted in November 2022 and still in process in June 2023

Hi

My parent submitted the TRV application to China Beijing VOC with below timeline

• Nov 1, 2022: App submitted
• Nov 9, 2022: Biometrics Collection Letter
• Nov 17, 2022
  • Mother's Biometrics completed
  • Father's Biometrics failed due to poor finger condition
• Feb 10, 2023: Father's Biometrics completed, no re-collection was requested
• Then nothing...
• Jun 12, 2023: Still in process...

Anyone has experienced such long wait for just TRV? Would fingerprint delay the process such? Or would there be any other reason? I have requested ATIP but yet to receive.

If anyone can give some light on what I can do to help, that's much appreciated!
