TRV stay expiration

Hi folks,

My relative came to Canada in Nov 2019 as a visitor, in January he went for a short trip in the US (returning to Canada same month ). No stamps in his passport both times.
When does his temporary status expire - in May 2020 or July 2020? (I'm thinking to extend his stay)
