TRV refused on ground of Travel history and purpose.

Please I was refused visa on ground of travel history and purpose.
1. On travel history I had cleared indicated reasons as to why have not been traveling due to work pressure with my previous employers.
2. On purpose, I did indicated why I was attending the exhibition.
For both I did include the explanation in my cover letter.
The visa officer wrote that I should explain more on both, so how best can I go about it?
