Hi! I applied for TRV+LMO, i have a job offer from canadian employer. But 2 years ago I was charged for driving under alcohol, so I was refused. I'd like to apply again attaching letters of reference and other proofs that I'm not a criminal. Beside that I have an idea to write a cover letter to my application, because I believe that I'm admissible to get a canadian visa.
In my court judgement there is information that my alcohol concetrate in breathing was 0,26mg/l, AND a breath reading of 0,401mgms/L or above, will make you inadmissible to Canada. So it means that due to Canadian Law it was not a criminal offense. This information I found at official government web page.

What do you think about it? I'd be thankful for any advise.
Maybe somebody have a sample of a cover letter for visa application? I wonder whether there is a certain form of such letter?
thanks in advanse for attention to my topic.

Which country are you applying in?

Note: There is never a guarantee for getting a visitor visa of any country. Even people who have perfect documents and records are refused visit visas.

It's upto you to write and satisfy the visa office, submit the docs and see if it works. Even Americans with DUI are refused entry to Canada.

Just because someone is admissible, does not mean they have a right to a visa.

Good luck though

Were you *convicted*? If so, what was the exact offence in your country and what was the penalty?
