Hi,

I am a Permanent Residence of Canada. I am planning to apply for TRV for my parents who are in India right now. I have some questions before I go ahead. It will be great If someone can clarify.

- My both parents are senior citizen over there and solely depends upon my income. My mother is a housewife and my father had a small business that was closed since long back.
- They don't have much savings in bank, I will be taking whole responsibility for their financials during their travel.
- They haven't travelled to any other country before, that's why I am going with TRV as they might go back soon to India.

Just need some advice on how can I make my application stronger, any tips?

Thanks

- You'll want to include an invitation letter stating that you will be covering all of their expenses. Include your bank statement to show you have sufficient savings.
- If they own property in India, they should show this as evidence of ties.
- Since they have weak funds and no previous travel, keep their requested trip short (e.g. 3 weeks).
