Hi, I need some guidance with my case.
1) I have a BOWP and I am applying for PR.
2) My gf has a multiple entry TRV valid for 8 years.
3) My gf and I have decided to live together, so she has been coming (fourth time) and staying with me for periods of less than 6 months over the past 2 years.
The problem is that the immigration officer gave her a hard time due to the following:
- She had no return ticket
- She has no job in our home country
- She has no medical insurance
Our plan is to wait for my PR and then I will sponsor her as a common law partner (will get married in 2015 most probably). In the meantime what options do we have so she doesn't have to go through all these inquiries and being suspicious of trying to stay illegally in Canada?
Any ideas will be appreciated.
