TRV in old passport

Hello people!

I am an international student. I have finished my second post grad program and applied for my work permit. Right now i am waiting for my work permit but in the meantime i still have my student permit and visa (with student status) till the end of the year.

My question is i am planning to go to my country for vacation in July 1st. I have renewed my passport 3 months ago. My canadian student visa is on my old passport. Can i go to my country and then re enter Canada by carrying both passports?

Yes, as long as you have a valid passport you can carry both to enter Canada.
