TRV for spouse staying in canada

Hello GUys,

My wife is on student visa in Ontario, canada. I would like to join her and i approached a consultancy where they are applying for my TRV. i was told from consultancy that i would have to apply for work permit once i land in canada. not sure if this is the process... any help on this is highly appreciated. thanks

No, You'll have to apply for SOWP during your TRV application. You consultant is taking you for a ride.
