Experts !

I would really appreciate your valuable input here . Thanks in advance.

I and my spouse are PR holders and staying in back home (CA travel plan is asap) . I am planning to apply for my new born visitor visa .

1. should i start online application via GC key or in portal https://ircc.canada.ca/visit-visiter/en/get-account-ircc-portal
2. Signature of the applicant in digital should be child's name or parent's can provide their signature?
3. In supporting doc section, it says as follows

Q1 : what is both parents are intended to trAVEL with kid together/
Q2: are they refering to signature in kid's passport for the below one?
  • a photocopy of that parent’s signed passport or national identity card

If a minor child is travelling with one parent only
The parent should present
  • the child’s passport
  • a copy of the child’s birth certificate, and
  • a letter of authorization, in English or French if possible, which is signed by the parent who is not travelling with them and includes
    • the address and telephone number of the parent who is not travelling, and
    • a photocopy of that parent’s signed passport or national identity card
