TRV extension problem for a masters student! Urgent

Hi, my study permit expires on 31/3/2020. My TRV (visa stamp on passport) expires soon. I applied for an extension on March 6, it was canceled by an error from CIC. They then created a new application for me 20 days ago and I'm still waiting for a decision. On the cic website, it says that the processing days are 5! Can I apply again? Or should I wait for any result? Im asking because it took so long and they have done too many errors so maybe applying again would be a better solution? Thanks
