TRV & CAN+ Programme Urgent help!!!

Hi All,

I moved to Canada on ICT a month back. I am planning to apply Visitor visa online for my parents (India passport) for 2 months visit. They visited me in US for 6 months in 2014. Upfront medical test is also done.

1. How to apply under CAN+ program for them. Is there a separate application form for CAN+ or we have to apply normally and classification will be done by CIC?
2. I am sponsoring their trip and I have enough funds. Since I arrived 1 month before to Canada, will it pose any challenge? If yes, how to mitigate?

It's the same TRV form.... you'll have to mention in the Covering Letter that you are applying under CAN+

Do not forget to scan the US visa + entry stamps and include this upfront in the TRV application

A TRV approval does not depend on the host's financial situation, but that of the applicant's. Your parents must prove they have the finances to pay for their visit + prove they have strong reasons to return home to.

I suggest you limit their visit to 2-3 weeks.... and not to 2 months
