I am an international student in canada. Recently I’ve extended my study permit and applied for my Extension for TRV. Is there any chance that my trv can get rejected? Or a valid study permit holder doesn’t get rejected?also i am currently enrolled to my college. Actually I have to visit my country as soon as possible for emergency purpose. I wanted to book flight for the end of October. Is there any surety that my trv will get approved so that I could book my flight or shall i wait till the decision comes and then book for the flight?

There's always a chance of rejection. It's not likely that you will be rejected, but no one can guarantee that with absolute certainty.

If you book flights, make sure that you can get a refund, or at least that the cancellation fee isn't too high.

How long does it usually takes to get a decision from them?
Would be really helpful if an approximate time can be told.
Thanks
