TRU acceptance creating confusion now....

Hello frds,
I am little confuse in TRU acceptance letter.the course is basically for 2 years diploma but I got credit for one year so need to study directly last year but how about work permit? Do I get 3 year permit or 1 year permit?

I am exactly in the same boat..!! My course In Niagara College is a 2 year Diploma.. But as I Have my bachelors I am getting a direct entry to second year..!! Now as per the college representative words, the diploma awarded will be of 2 years which will fetch a 3 year work permit.. But I am still not sure..!! If anyone had a same experience please share..!!

I am not sure but may be 3 years if your diploma/transcript show that your official course was 2 years long.

Its never depend how long your course is, it depends how long u studied...

And trust me u r not in same course, this course must be called fast track or similar.
so with 1 year study =1 year pgwp
because you will apply for pgwp after you studied and they will come to know how long u studied, and that period will help them to determine ur pgwp.

I agree with vipul. Your study permit duration=PGWP duration

How about if we have co-op...Then it's become 1.5 year course...so do we still get 1 year work permit?

Then your PGWP will be of 1.5 year.
