Tricky situation

Friends

I am new bie to this forum
I cought in a tricky situation

Little back ground

I got Immigration with my wife and son(1.5 year old) in 2012
Once we reached there we apply for Pr card
Me and my wife got Pr card
But my son didn't received his Pr card
We thought/assume that minor will not Pr card

Now in October 2014 my wife went back to Pakistan with my son (having only her Pr card and while son dont have any valid doc to travel back to Canada
I came to Pakistan in Feb 2015
While returning to Alberta
They shopped us We can't travel further as our son dont have any valid travel documents to land in canada
Currently we are in airport waiting for Montreal Immigration department for there reply

If your son is on record as being a PR, you will almost certainly be ok, as he has the legal right to enter Canada. What I don't understand is how you managed to get him onto the aircraft without a PR card?

I am moving forward to Calgary and
My wife and son are going back to Pakistan

Suggest/guide what to do next so my son can travel to Canada

PR card is not the same as PR status. The PR card is a travel document and visible evidence of PR status only.
However, card or no card, if your son became a "landed immigrant" at the same time as you and your wife, he IS a Canadian Permanent Resident. Do you have his copy of the COPR document? The correct thing to do now is apply for a Travel Document from the CHC in Pakistan for him.

They should have Allowed with COPR copy if you reach a Canadian airport. Actually PR card is required to board the airplane. Now you can apply travel document for your son in Pakistan Canadian embassy.

PR card is compulsory even for kids, see below link under the heading " Before you apply"

Now you have to contact local visa office and show them all documents including copy of your PR card, COPR of kid etc and then get travel document for kid. In above link you can find all details.

In India it takes around 2 weeks time thro VFS.

She will submit the application on Monday

I check my file( which I made on day first when I arrived in Calgary) where I put the documents regarding cic and Immigration / passport. There is no Pr card of my son which indication that we haven't received Pr card
Does any one have an idea to whom I contact inquire to check about the issuance of my son PR
If was issued they must be a record That Pr card of son was issued

It may not have been issued, for example if the photograph was not good enough. They would have informed you by letter. You will need to apply for one when your son arrives in Canada.

From which specific department I have to contact service canada or Immigration department to know whether PR card was issued or not

Bring a minor can i apply for PR Card
How much time it will take


Vfs global Pakistan branch informed that processing time will be 40 days

Call CIC @ 1.888.242.2100 for PR card status. Now processing time is 42 days.

Friends I am very thankful of all you helping me in my tough n weird situation in which I was stuck


I have to ask one more question
Can we include a letter with our application asking visa officer to issue us permanent residence travel documents as soon as possible.

Should we add a cover letter typo thing stating the Purpose and what we have include with the application
