Guys,

I have deadline of 16th nov. to submit my post ITA application. We are expecting baby by march 28th. Whats should i do so that I will able to include our child in application. My wife will be going ahead with medicals including Xray. Can we add baby to application after PPR?

Inform CIC as soon as the baby is born, they will inform you what needs to be done to add the child to your application. Even if you get your PPR before the child is born, delay your landing till your child is added to your application.

I think it would be better if you add a LOE about this situation. CIC should be able to guide you with the next steps to include your newborn later on.
Anyway, you can wait for someone to give you more accurate details - if they have been through such a scenario.

Thanks Asivad, Will we able to add our child after receiving passport back with our visa stamped? Wont they close our case after issuing passport back
with Visa?

You can inform CIC about changes to family circumstances at any point before 'landing' in Canada.

But what if they go ahead and get PR and deliver in Canada as PR by then? Health care costs would have to be considered as well.

How can I inform CIC about my new born baby? I got ITA on 27th Nov and baby is born on 30th Nov!

Have you already submitted your eAPR? if you didn't submit, add your new born baby with your eAPR. You need baby's birth certificate, passport, digital photograph etc..If you have already submitted your eAPR, you have to inform CIC by sending CSE with the documents. Thanks

I haven't submitted it yet. Just trying to get everything ready for the baby asap! Though I am afraid we may not be able to do it in 60 days (now less than 60). Do I also need to submit her Medicals?

As far as regulations go, you don't have to inform CIC about your pregnancy. You are required to inform them only when the baby is born (in which case you better make sure your PoF is enough for your family PLUS the expected baby). If time-wise you can land and then deliver the baby in Canada, that's ideal IMO, because the baby becomes a Canadian citizen. The costs of hospital etc are covered by insurance (at least in Ontario as far as I know), so that's not an issue.

However, if the baby is born before landing, you need to add him/her to your application and refrain from landing until the baby is also granted PR. Hope this helps.

Certainly you have to do the medical exam for your new born baby. Under 5 years babies, doctors will check very few things.
