My wife and I got married a few months ago and we did not apply for a marriage license yet because I had to move to Canada for work. My wife is planning on travelling tomorrow but with the new restrictions, it looks like a marriage certificate is required to enter the country although it does not mention that it is mandatory.
Can someone with enough knowledge please let me know if there are other documents that are accepted? We have our marriage pictures and videos as evidence. Will that be enough for her to get her through immigration?
From https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/answers/foreign-us-family-tr, I see "An officer may request or accept other documents as needed". Any help will be greatly appreciated.
The following are examples of documents you can provide. Paper and electronic copies of these documents are accepted. Please note that these are examples only. An officer may request or accept other documents as needed.

- a marriage certificate or proof of common-law status (documents showing a shared address)
- a birth certificate
- other documents that show an immediate family connection, for example:
- correspondence from us showing a spousal sponsorship application in progress
- documents that show a shared home address
