Travelling with nearly expired passports

Hi all,

I have been a PR for 3 years now, all papers in order. I want to make a trip back home during the summer. The thing is that my passport expires a mere 3 weeks after my return flight is booked. Does anybody know if this would raise any concerns at the POE?

(This would be a direct flight, and my home country has no issues with it.)

Did you check with your airline though as sometimes they can be awkward regardless of the official position. They often make up their own rules.

I'm more concerned with the POE.

It doesn't matter how long it is valid for as long as it is valid.

you should apply for a new one or renewal at your closest country's consulate

"Nearly expiring" means that it is updated.

(Sorry, let's keep it in English).
