Travelling while waiting for PR

Hello!

We applied inland for my husband's PR.
I understand that it is not advised to travel while waiting for his PR.

However, what about when he has his OWP? Is he able to travel to the USA at that time? (IF he has his visa etc?)

i'm guessing the OWP is connected to the inland application? When he has an approved OWP, his PR application will still be waiting to be processed, so i can't imagine the rules would change.

The concern isn't leaving canada, it's being refused re-entry. If for some reason, CBSA refuses entry, the inland app is cancelled. That is why it's not recommended to travel. People have been successful traveling with an inland app in process and staying under the radar. It's the applicant's choice if it's worth the risk.
