Travelling to third country while outland application in process

Hi All

I am December 2020 applicant from India. Our outland spousal file is in process. We are planning to visit third country for 2 weeks. I have few questions regarding the same:

- Do i need to inform IRCC about this visit
- will this affect application processing timelines
- Do i need to get police clearance from third country (main ques.)
- Will IRCC conduct Background check from third country impacting our processing timelines
