Travelling to India after PR application is under process. Please Help

i got the invite under the CEC category on March1st 2017. my work permit expired on the 11th of march and i have submitted my application for a visitors visa on March 6th.
i am done with my Medical exam and is passport is in the process for PCC. once i submit all my documnets and pay the fees can i travel back to india and come back once my PR has been approved?

Yes you can travel to India after submitting eAPR. However, you must provide your Indian address to IRCC after landing in India.

also since i will be leaving canada do i need to show any proof of funds now that i will be on a visitors visa? also if i do decide to go i just need to write a letter and upload it to the IRCC regarding my address in india or can i give a canadian address?

If you have a job now in Canada, then you don't need to show POF. Better to send the application while you are still working.

But if you will be travelling back to India, then it's better to arrange for your POF.

If you would not be working, then you would have to show POF. It's better you be prepared with the funds. Then you can choose to either stay in Canada or travel to India. Make sure that you notify IRCC about any change in your country, address and circumstances.
