Hi,

I am from India. I am going to get marry in April. My spouse is from Canada. I am planning to come Canada to apply for Inland application in May and want to stay there on visitor visa. I have a confusion related to tickets.
Whether I need to get return ticket while travelling from India, Or I can book later. I think marriage certificate and sponsorship letter is enough to convince immgration officer.

Please advice.

Thanks

You will need to be holding a return ticket in order to board the plane to Canada. Your airline will very likely refuse boarding with only a one way ticket. Buy a return.

Thanks a lot for your time, I will get return ticket.

One small query, As I will stay with my wife. She is staying in rented house. Whether I need to show booking of hotel or something at immigration. Or a letter from my wife is enough ? I can also show copy of her rental agreement.I will also carry copy of marriage certificate. This is just to show that she will support me during my stay.

Please suggest what is best way.

Thanks in advance.
