Hey guys. I have one query. I hope you can help me with that. I just want to know. Once you get your passport back after getting visa stamped. In that case can you travel to other countries with that or you have to wait until you get your PR card. As it is approximately 3 months process for getting PR card.
Thanks

Anyone have any information regarding this..Please help. Thanks

Thanks for the info. But it only shows if you are entering Canada. I need information about if i want to leave Canada and want to travel to another country without having PR card.

Your Canadian status makes no difference when it comes to entering other countries. That depends on which country you want to enter and where your citizenship is, and you need to determine that directly in accordance with the rules of the two countries.

So if you are allowed to enter another country (ie: you have the appropriate visa or are visa exempt) you just go and do it. There are no exit controls in Canada so nobody from CIC will even necessarily know that you've gone. Your Canadian PR card is what you need to get back into Canada, and if you don't have it yet then that's where those links come into it.

If someone is holding a visa exampted passport, does he still need those travel docs?

Can I enter Canada with my landing paper but not with PR card.
The thing is I am planning once I get my visa stamped. I want to go out of the country and re enter with my landing document or just immigrant visa but not with PR card. Will that be fine? The reason I am asking coz it is taking 3 months to get PR card.
