Is it possible to travel outside Canada on work visa if PR application is in process... and presently you are on visit visa living in Canada..

What do you mean by work visa? a work permit?

We need to know the nationality of your passport, where are you going, what documents do you have with expiry dates. Then we can help you.

Yes work permit... I am in Canada on VISIT visa... My husband is Canadian National..he has sponsored me...

I wanted to convert my Visa into Work Visa... just wanted to know then i can travel outside Canada on Work Visa..

While My Permanent Residency Application is in process its almost 11 month now in process... I have a Pakistani Passport...

I still don't get what you mean by work visa.... there is no such thing as work visa.

Regardless, for your case you will need your TRV (Temporary Resident Visa) until you get your Confirmation of Permanent Residency which is the last stage of your PR process.

Of course you can travel to the US without any Visa as long as your only destination is the US.

And only as long as you hold a valid work (or study) permit, or a valid visitor record.

I think you should provide more information regarding your current situation and if possible try to use right terminology , it makes it easier for members to analyze your situation.

As you are currently being sponsored inland, it is strongly recommended that you do not leave Canada at all during the process, even after you receive your work permit. If you are refused entry back into Canada for any reason, your inland application will be cancelled and you will have to start over with an outland application through Islamabad. Current posted processing time for an outland app in Islamabad is 32 months.

Some people mean visitor visa type worker.

Similar to that some call study visa a visitor visa type visitor.

The OP needs to clarify when this terms are used so we can help accordingly.
