Dear friends,
I haven't heard anything from immigration after 6months of submitting my application, no AOR or whatsoever and I was told they can't find my application so I should resubmit a new application, I want to know if I can apply for a TRV to go and celebrate our 1year wedding anniversary with my husband and his family.
All suggestions and ideas will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Others can comment as well but this would verey unlikely be considered as a reason for essential travel with the current COVID situation. Without reading through your other posts which seem to imply you are in the middle of an outland sponsorship even getting a TRV can be a challenge without COVID being around given IRCC tends to suspect a TRV holder may not leave regardless of sponsorship status.

By all means you can try applying even though as said travel for anything such as an anniversary or birthday or wedding would not currently be considered essential travel and in any case even if you could travel you would be required to self isolate in quarantine for 14 days with no or limited contact. with others.

this is not essential travel. it is more like vacation and touring.

Thanks for your advice honestly I don't know what to do now, am very disappointed. How can IRCC misplace a complete files like that, where am I going to get police clearance certificate at this time, they requested for original documents so am left with just photo copies so what do I do.

Stuff happens in life unfortunately. But it is not the end of the world, you can get those files/certificate from where you got them the first time :)
