Traveling to Canada as a Tourist while in the Express entry pool

Hello All!!

Wanted to ask if it is possible to have a profile in the express entry pool.
Within the processing time to Travel to Canada and stay there as a tourist and then get the ITA and complete my file.
Does that sound possible? and also viable and doesnt create any problems on my express entry.

You can enter Canada as a visitor while you're in the pool, but you would have to convince an immigration official that you plan to return to your home country, which you wouldn't be able to do truthfully. Remember, an ITA and successful PR application are never guaranteed.

It's possible to travel to Canada temporarily as a tourist if you have a TRV. Since you are only allowed to travel to Canada as a tourist, you would need a return ticket and would want to show you are only coming to Canada temporarily.

Note that you cannot travel at this time due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions. Only essential travel is allowed and your reasons for traveling are non-essential. If you want to come to Canada as a tourist, you will have to wait until the travel restrictions have lifted.
