Traveling back to Canada with valid visa while being PR with eCOPR but no PR card

I recently obtained my PR status with a eCOPR. the card has not been mailed yet. I have a valid visa to travel to Canada. If I travel outside Canada, can I return with my visa?

Once you are a PR, the PR card is required in order to return to Canada by air. Only other option is to apply for a PRTD once you’re out of the country:

that makes sense. what really bothers me is that I have never seen a mention in any official websites stating that upon the pr approval, all other visas become invalid. does it exist?

Don't know but it seems common sense, doesn't it? Your status has changed.
