Travel with expired TRV with valid open work permit while trv under process in Canada

Good Day

I hold open work permit and employment in Canada. I also applied TRV inside Canada but i traveled back to Pakistan due to my father's health while my application for trv inside Canada was under process. My TRV application is still under process but i left Canada and i am in Pakistan now.

Please guide me. do i need to wait for my current application which is under process or i need to apply for New TRV in Pakistan?

You can try to apply, but your application may be rejected because you have another application in process.

So you mean that I just wait for my current application instead of applying new one.

To answer the implied question in the thread title. You must possess a valid visa in your passport in order to board the flight. The fact that you have applied for a renewal is not relevant.

sorry i mean that i traveled back to my home country with expired TRV. I use mobile so got mistake but don't know how to edit title
now.

We get what you mean, but now you've clarified your question so many times I have no idea what you're asking.

If you already have a TRV application pending, if you apply for another one (since you are no longer in Canada) the application may be cancelled or refused because you have another one pending.

You cannot travel back to Canada without a valid TRV.

You could wait and see what happens with the first application. If it's approved, you could try to submit your visa to a VFS location in your country.
