Travel Visa Requirements

I am in the process of sponsoring my wife to live here. application submitted in Feb. She wants to travel and visit me in Sept and return home. With regards to the travel visa application, do i need to provide my detailed bank account information? I find that its very personal details and I am not comfortable sharing it with the Visa office.

I printed up the bank statement only revealing the account balance with account numbers hidden. This way your account numbers are not compromised.

It shouldn't be a problem sharing details with the visa office. They will get your SIN, phone #, address, you shouldn't have to worry about it. Personally, I would include my account # so they know it's not a fake account and it belongs to me.
