Travel to India and Thailand with less than 5 months of passport validity

I am a Canadian PR with 5 months of passport validity left. I have booked my tickets for Nov(next month). Can I still travel to India?
However, I have applied for tatkaal passport renewal.

Also, I’ll be travelling to Thailand in Dec. I have heard they don’t allow to board with <5 months of passport validity.

Not if you have multiple passports.

For Canada, you need your pr card to return and a valid passport (even one day left).
