What are the chances of travelling to Canada on a visitors visa, to find a job? The visa is good for 6 months, would I be more successful in finding a job if I'm there as oppose to applying for a work permit from out of the country? Did anyone tried this method and was successful? Then after having Canadian working experience do EE profile.

The chances of success are extremely low. It's generally extremely difficult to find employers willing to hire foreign workers whether you are in Canada or outside of Canad,, especially now with COVID-19 related job losses. In order for yout to apply for a work permit, the employer not only has to give you a job offer, they must also obtain an approved LMIA which is a 4-6 month process with no guarantee of approval. This process costs the employer a fair amount of time and money. In order to be approved, they must also advertise the job for at least a month and prove no Canadian could be found for the role.

Also, there is no guarantee you will receive a 6 month visitor visa when you enter the country. You could be issued a week, or even turned around at the border, if they suspect you are there to work, or find work.
