I am an Assistant Professor by profession. I received Invitation To Apply in the month of May and I gathered all the required documents and submitted my application for PR. Now, it has been a month and a half while I am waiting for my PR Visa to get approved, and I received a conference invite to present my paper in Montreal. My concern is that is it legal and fair to apply under visitor visa and travel to Montreal while my PR application is under process?
Please guide on the same. I do not want to risk anything and at the same time I want to attend in this conference as well.
