My oath is on Friday, June 23, and I can apply for passport two business day after the oath, which is Tuesday, June 27. Will be traveling to USA on vehicle on Sunday, July 2. According to law, I don't need a passport to return to Canada on Saturday, July 8 if I return on the vehicle, just show certificate of citizenship and driver's licence. Wondering if anyone did that or you recommend applying for urgent processing of passport because CBSA can create extra hindrance because of that?
