Travel History - Request for Additional Documents

CIC requested additional documents today, one of them being "Travel History". To quote:

"Please submit a complete copy of your Travel History for the following time period: xxx to yyy (past 10 years). Please ensure to give a breakdown of time spent in each country."

1. Is this a normal request?
2. Why would CIC ask for travel history despite providing the complete list in my e-APR?
3. Should I also submit any additional proofs of my travel? E.g. e-tickets, immigration stamps on my old passport?

1. Yes
2. Who knows, they could be checking for consistency in your answers, or you have items that may have raised questions with the officer (long stays, certain countries, repeated visits, etc.)
3. I don't think so. But if you think you were requested this because of a certain long stay in your travel history, then you can consider doing so.
