Hi all,

A friend of mine, who is not internet friendly have an inquiry, he submitted a TRV later september, and his proposed travel date was on 6 november,he was asked to come for an interview at 27 october, and his invitation letter states that his hosts will take care of him starting on the same day arranged to arrive which is 6 november, i guess the processing time for abu dhabi office to issue visa is 20+ days.

so would this proposed date for travel and the short time between it and the interview date, make a problem for him.

he didn't book or buy any tickets yet.!!!

what u advise he say on the day of the travel, or shall he get another explanation letter to be presented at the time of interview explaining that he didnt buy any tickets or take his annual leave yet,and the date sounded right at the time of submitting the documents without bearing in mind the visa processing time...!!!

please advise.

Hi,

As your friend has not booked any tickets + not applied for time off from work.... his plans come across as tentative, subject to a TRV being issued.

A best case would've been if he had submitted a leave approval letter + stated his plans are tentative and flight tickets will be booked when the TRV is issued.

He should maintain what he has submitted in his application, at the interview. He can explain that he had planned his visit for November 6, and if required, he will reschedule his visit depending on when the TRV is issued.

BTW hope he has declared all information truthfully in his visa application.... hope he has not missed out on disclosing some information.

Hope this helps
