Airlines are used to dealing with people who don’t speak English or French. On a direct flight from Mumbai most of the flight will be able to help with any translation if needed. I would suggest travelling with a printed sheet of all the typical questions answered and your phone number on it and the phone number of the person picking the person up from the airport. At the Vancouver airport they will have people who speak all the languages spoken in India and China given the large populations who come from the region. I’m sure they general public that she meets on the flight will help the person out and when in doubt follow the crowd and look for staff if you get lost. Airports are set up to make them pretty user friendly.
