Travel back to Canada from india with different surname

Is it possible to travel back to Canada from India with different surname on passport and PR card???

I don’t have an answer but would not have thought so given first challenge would likely be the airline given your name on your ticket/boarding pass should match the name in your passport. So start any way by checking with the airline you plan to travel with.

I did that but they don’t know anything about this matter. They told me to check with border security and border service agent but nobody has answer for me.
