Hi!
I know there is another thread on this but it has had no comments for over 60 dyas and I need someone to hep me out, please! I have to submit my ITA response.

I've got a question regarding translation requirements.
I have my documents transated from Spanish to English and have the affidavit from the translator. My question is, as I see in requirements a certified copy of originals should be uploaded, but, why would I certify a copy if Im uploading he original from which the documents where translated???
If I ulpload originals + translation + affidavit,is it enough??? Or do I still have to get certififed copies?
Thanks!
Connie.

Exactly! It makes no sense uploading certified copies of what I'm uploading in originals, that's why I asked!
When you look up "translation requirements" thats whats stated, but I'v been told by others they didn't upload copies and it was fine, so I'll do that.

Hi guys, I have a question regarding the translation of documents for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program: Human Capital Priorities Stream.
The application guide says:
"You must send only copies of supporting documents unless otherwise stated."

Then it says:
"If a supporting document is not in English or French, you must provide a copy of the document and a complete, certified translation of the document."

So, can I send copies of the notarized translations (from outside Canada it needs to be notarized, instead of certified) or must I send the original translation itself? I have this question because I'll probably have to resend the translations if I get the ITA, but the costs to get duplicates are absurd.

Sorry if it's a repeated question or the wrong topic.

Thanks in advance.

I was told there was no need to present copies if I was presenting originals of the translations. But always remember to attach the affidavit fromthe translator, in case you don't have translations froma Canadian translator.

Best of luck!

I think the thing is you said "I see in requirements a certified copy of originals should be uploaded"... can you please let us know where the requirements are?
I've never seen this kind of requirement actually.

Certified true copies means - A notarized photo copy of original with the sign and remarks by Notary saying " Certified true copy"
